Tagged

I've been tagged by Beth at The Power of Your Love.

Here are the rules of the tag:

1) Link to the person who tagged you.

2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6).

3) Write 6 random things about yourself.

4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them.

5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.

6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

So, here are the six random things about myself:

1. I've moved to here in 1991 when my wonderful hubby and I got married and started our blended family...we have moved 4 times in 5 years and never left town. My next move (I pray) is 6 foot under :)

2. All the can goods in my pantry have to be grouped together according to their contents, front facing and turned right side up....only thing I don't do is alphabetize.

3. I was married 3 weeks after graduation to my "high school sweetheart" and it soon turned into a nightmare, was married for 6 1/2 years, divorced him, was a single parent for 4 years before marrying my best friend, my wonderful husband...my God sent knight in shining armour.

4. I am a "Granny" at 46 years old..."bonus" Granny.

5. I was mischievious my senior year in high school. I, with 2 more girls and 3 guys, climbed the water tower at the end of the football field the week before graduation and spray painted as many classmates initials on there as we could. We couldn't keep a straight face during graduation because it was staring right at us. Lord, help me...you reap what you sow...I have a teenager still at home :(

6. I love a man in uniform...well, my man anyway. Scroll down and see him in his police uniform in the right sidebar :)

Now, I'm supposed to tag 6 more people...hmmmmm...let's see.

Amy at The Kings Table

Shannon at Bless Our Nest

Sharon at He Is My Prince of Peace

Naomi at Loving My Life as Mommy & Wife

Kim at Nothing Can Separate Me From His Love

Michele at Michele's Morsels Beelieve

I hope you all play along :)~

  1. Great post! I am not that organized at all! But I am always impressed with those who are. I do understand moving alot. We have lived in our house now for 6 years. That is the longest we have lived anywhere!

    So nice to "meet" you!

    Have a great week!

  4. Thanks for playing along, Jennifer!

I have mixed feelings about these tags, but you have been a relatively new person to visit me, and I wanted to know a little more about you!

And now I do!! Spraying the water tower? Now that sounds like something I would have done at that age--if there were a water tower nearby. I'm not going to say here what I did instead.

Do you think you could come and organize my cupboards for me? I'm not organized in that direction at all!!

I'm so glad you have a wonderful hubby!! God sends and provides for us everyday of our lives, every moment of our lives. Sometimes I wish I hadn't waited so long to learn this.

I also read your "Getting to Know Me--Christmas Edition". I like that a lot also, and probably will be posting that on my warmHarte blog today after work.

    Again, thanks for playing along!!

  5. Thanks for the tag, I will try to work on this later on today!!
I see you were a bad girl too, but Praise God how he works on us and our hearts and molding us into his likeness.
Your hubby is hansome in his uniform, I like men in uniforms as well.
I would like to say Thank You too your husband for the job he does for us all. It's a heart wrenching job that he does, And he deserves to be blessed for this!

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving YOU & your Family

  6. Thank you for your continued prayers! I really appreciate them! Ainsley is doing a little better this morning. It was kinda ruff during the night. She coughed half of the night so neither one of us got a lot of sleep but the second half of the night was good! Her fever is down this morning and she in nibbling on food! She is mad because she is going to miss gymnastics tonight but she understands.

That is the only thing that I am really OCD about. I wish I was OCD about my house, so does my hubby!

    Love you!
    Naomi

  7. I might be able to beat you on the moves. We were a very stable family...until we moved from Florida in 2000. From May 2000 to December 2003, we moved 6 times!! We moved again in November 2005 and have been in that house since then. But to move 6 times in 3 and a half years was a bit much!!! My husband definitely thought I had too many books!! His back hurt from lifting all the boxes so many times.

I rejoice with you that the Lord blessed you with your current hubby. How good He is!

I was wild in my high school days. I did much I'm not proud of. I wonder, if I had known the Lord, would it have been different? I'd like to think so.

Thanks for sharing these fun things.

    Hugs,
    Patti
