Today Is A New Beginning For The Rest Of My Life

Today, I am embarking on a new adventure in my life...an adventure or journey that if I follow the guidelines set before me will be a life changing event for me.

I am not going into any details in my post or on my Facebook at this point but trust me when I say..."it will be a trying and difficult journey but one that I trust will be well worth the "pain" that I must endure along the way to get to a better place".

The hardest part at the moment is that on this journey is I have been advised to discontinue my hormone replacement therapy, which I have been on daily x 3.5 years. Wow...that came as a huge shock to me. I still tend to be irritable and hot with my hormones...I can only imagine what it will be like without them.

If my name comes to your mind over the next 40 days...especially, the first 2-3 weeks...please pray for me AND my family who has to live with me. LOL!

I will share all that is going on in my life when I feel that time is right and the Lord wants to use it to help someone else.

Until then....I want to share more pictures from our wonderful vacation. These are our family beach pictures...including us playing on the beach and in the ocean, as well as our family portraits that we made on the beach. Hope you enjoy them.

  2. Jen,
I will be praying. I get it. My husband and i are trying to live doing things the way GOD would have us, to. We eat mostly organically and are using many holistic methods. We do still take some med.s etc. but try to follow this regimen as closely as we can. It has been a VERY rewarding, but difficult journey. I know GOD will give you the strength to do whatever HE has called you to do.
BTW: please stop by arise 2 write and pick up a blog award. Your name may not be in the list, b/c I ran out of steam. It is for everyone who follows my blog. U are all valuable and more than I could ask for...U are prayer warriors and friends!
    Blessings,andrea

  4. See, all of the sweet people saying, "I'm praying for you" and I'm wanting to say, "What are you going to do?!?!?! What's up?" Ok, but the sweet Christian Sister is surfacing and I'll pray without knowing what is up. :o)

I do pray God will bring your hormones into perfect balance supernaturally and protect you as you come off of the synthetic hormones.

    Love you,
    b

  7. I am full of questions, as well. Simply because my dad and I went through (something) similar when my mom went through times like this. So... if Mr. Hubby and Mr. Son need words of comfort.... let me know! My dad and I could write a book about stuff with my mom! ;)
Seriously, know that I will be definitely pray for you every time your name pops in my head or I hear the name Jennifer, hot mama, etc. ;)

  12. I will pray for you (and your family), my friend.

I am thinking of buying some progesterone cream at the health store, as I think that I could use a little help with hormones! Perhaps that might help you?
