I read this little devotion from a book that I really enjoy...Everyday Encouragement by Pamela McQuade for Spiritual Refreshment for Women.
"He has brought down rulers from their thrones but has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty." Luke 1:52-53
WOW!!!! I love what she says here "God never ignores His children's needs!" This doesn't say our WANTS but it says...OUR NEEDS.
In a very shaky economy, I am so thankful that I can depend on my Heavenly Father to provide all my needs.
Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

ReplyDeleteI experienced that devotion first hand during last summer and fall. I was unemployed for 6 months and God showed me His provision. He provided for all my needs. He threw in a want here and there too for encouragement!
