This is the first time that I've ever heard this song and I thought it was beautiful. It goes perfectly with my heart's cry this week and reflects my writings too. Enjoy!

This is one of the songs I "grew up" on as a christian, thanks for the reminder, I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteLove this melody...I remember it too. I love the line that says...Ready to do your will...boy, that's a tough one some times. I need to be open to what God has for me. My family is in a "time" of seeing what God's will is for us...thanks for sharing.
ReplyDelete(did I tell you I gre up in AR?)
Blessings Jennifer...Just what I needed...to be refined and set apart...cuz I am so ready to do His will!!! Beautiful song! Reminds me of "Purify my heart" or is it? "Cleanse my heart Oh Lord!" whichever how better to start out the New Year...Pure & searching by faith...Great choice! Bless your New Year & your life & this weekend and TSMSS! Enjoy & praise & worship Our King as your tender heart cries out, may His Holy Spirit fill you back up!!!
ReplyDeleteI have not heard that song either. Its beautiful. love ya, have a great weekend!

I love this song, it is difficult to go through the refining but I do want to be set apart and ready to do God's will, whatever that may be for me.
ReplyDeletethanks for the great song, i am blessed to have found your blog.
Love this song. This was the theme song on a retreat I went on. Everytime I hear it...get all choked up.

I love that song so much! Thanks for playing it today. I haven't heard it in such a long time!
ReplyDeleteA new one for me too. Beautiful. We have to choose to be holy and set apart.
ReplyDeleteGreat song! Such meaningful lyrics. My good friend Richie Owens is a songwriter, and I thought you might enjoy his song Hold on.

That is a beautiful song and the first time I had ever heard it. The TSMSS songs I listened to last night all seemed to have the same encouraging message about hope and trust in our Saviour during any kind of circumstance. Thank you for sharing this song!
ReplyDeleteJennifer I love this song. It was one of the first songs I learned 3 yrs ago when I came to Christ. We still sing it in church and each time the tears fall.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting it today!
Blessings,
Jill
Beautiful worship song. Thank you, Jennifer for your kind words on my post. I am playing catch-up now since I've not been on-line much lately. I always find inspiration from your posts. My heart rejoices that your Christmas was good with Brandon. I loved reading the old e-mails which show how much God has blessed you and the spiritual growth He has given you. Your last post on faith is a wonderful testimony to that. Love and prayers, Carolyn
