If you have never felt the urgency to fall on your knees in prayer for our nation...don't wait another minute longer.
Fall on your knees....NOW!
Our nation and the election tomorrow needs each and everyone of us on our knees crying our to God.
This nation is steadily turning its back on God, the one in whom we trust, but as for now...
IN GOD WE STILL TRUST!
This video is not new but I feel it is very fitting in the shape that this nation is going and with the election tomorrow.

Blessings to you dear.
ReplyDeletePlease come by my blog, there is an award for you.
ReplyDeleteI can't watch the video, as we have YouTube blocked on our computer. However, like you, I am praying for our nation today. 2 Chronicles 7:14 puts the fate of the nation on God's people. If they will seek his face, pray, and repent, then he will heal their land. I have been seeking him about this election for over a year now, but today the prayers are even more fervent.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Patti
I am praying...
ReplyDeleteI am not ignoring your tag, just haven't had the time to do it yet, some very unexpected heartache and grief going on in our lives right now, all prayers are appreciated...
Blessings!
I am leaving another comment because I wanted to respond to the sweet comment you left on my recent post. I, too, dread the thoughts of an empty nest. But my husband and I are hoping to add to our family. We continue to pray for another biological child, but we are also looking into adoption.(yes, even in our 40's) There are SO many children in the foster care system that are in need of a home, and we are hoping that the Lord has one of those babies for us. Is that something that you have ever considered? I think that children would be blessed to have for a mom a woman like you who loves being a mom. You would be a huge blessing in the life of a needy child.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who was SO anxious for the empty nest, and now it's upon her, and she hates it.
If you've read my posts for the past 2 Mondays, about how I allowed church ministry to take over my life so that I basically ignored my family, you know why I am so emphatic about enjoying one's children.
Anyhow, like your son, my children LOVE being with my husband and me. We have lots of fun together. It is a huge blessing, isn't it, to have teenage children who actually love being with their parents.
Thanks so much for visiting. I look forward to getting to know you better.
Blessings,
Patti
Jennifer, When the kids were younger, my husband took a notebook and would write a note in it each morning. He would write a note to each child, and a note to me. It would be something quick and simple, just a few lines, like "Mom said you did a great job on your history assignment. I'm so proud of you. I love you, Dad." Or he'd write a note to the baby "You have such a precious baby language, daddy loves you." and I would read it to the baby. He also drew a stick "family" picture (including the dog). If he had more time, he'd write more.
ReplyDeleteAt night, I would have the kids write a note in there for daddy to see in the morning. When my youngest was a toddler, I just gave him a pen and let him scribble. I would write a note to.
This became a looked-forward to way of communicating and the kids loved it and we looked forward to it. We still have all the notebooks to this day and they're so precious to read and each entry has that day's date so it's a record too.
We don't do notebooks anymore (sad!) but they're spending much more time together now that the kids are older. And my husband sends them emails!
