Thank you again for taking the time to visit me at "Through the Storms of Life".
What an amazing testimony of God's amazing grace and how he truly is in charge of all things... And Brandon's faith... beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI still remember the panick as a mother and wife who nearly lost over half of her family in a matter of minutes and I feel sick when I relive that time in my mind even now. But, oh the peace that comes with I think about how God took total control and changed the course of events that were unfolding in a blink of an eye...after the cry of a teenager to his Heavenly Father to save them and HE DID JUST THAT! Praise The Lord! God is so good and we serve an awesome God!!!!
ReplyDeleteJen,
ReplyDeleteGod spared Brandons life not just once but twice. Don't give up on knowing that God has a great plan for his life. -love Laurie
When I need a shelter, when I need a friend...I Go To The Rock! Believe me, I go there all the time. It is hard, so very hard to see your child, who you love more than your own life, suffer and in pain...both physically, emotionally and spiritually but sometimes, that is the only thing that gets our attention. I keep telling Brandon to not let his pain be in vain. God is still in control...He was then...7 years ago in the ocean and He was in March with Brandon in the car wreck and He is still on the throne today. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy but MY GOD COMES TO GIVE LIFE AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! That is what I cling to...somedays with strong hands and uplifted head and somedays...by my fingernails, fighting the feeling of hopelessness and discouragement. Thank you, Laurie and Christelle for always being so encouraging to me. Love you guys!
