This and That...Part II

Wood Family Reunion
June 20th, 2009

I haven't attended my daddy's side family reunion in many years due to a "riff" with another family member but God restored that relationship in December 2008 and I was excited to attend this year and see all my cousins, aunts and uncles. Many have gone on to be with the Lord and that part is sad but it was a joy to get to visit with all the rest of the Wood Family.

Our little family, well, minus Sommer, Jim, Ryan and Brandon

This is my daddy's family.
Front - My niece-Carli, SIL-Kay, Sister-Cherry
Our grandson-Mason, My Mom - Nanny,
2nd row - Brother - Jeff, Me, Tyler,
Back - BIL - Jon and Roger

The golf tournament that we worked so hard on back in March and sponsored in April to raise money for St. Jude...this is the picture that we took on June 19th where they presented a check to St. Jude Children'sResearch Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The check was for $15,500.00 that these boys raised for such a worthy cause.

  1. I love family photo's. Your little Mason is adorable!-- toothless grin and all. :)

Good job on the great cause!

  2. WOW...I know all about family riffs and issues. My Dad's family is full of them. I thought things were better after my grandmother's funeral in April, but the same type of drama still continues. SOOOO SAD!
I praise GOD with you for the restoration within your family. Blessings, andrea

  3. Jenn,

WOW! What amazing and sentimental pictures, especially the last one where it shows how much Tyler has grown!

SO glad you got to your family reunion. I feel that God is going to reunite some families that have been separated and bring them back together again!

    Love and Hugs ~ Kat

  6. Wow, those boys did a great job raising money! And the family shots are great. Your son is soooo handsome!

  7. May God bless your dear family.
